The wireless transmitter for XLR microphones
wich compose the wireless system RØDELink Røde Newsshooter Kit for handheld microphones
presents many interesting functions, the first of them is that you will resolve the problems caused by cables between the microphone holder and the audio recording source (camera, reflex, camcorder, digital MP3 recorder, smartphone...)!
Connected directly on the XLR plug of the microphone (or throught an adaptor), this smart small device will faslty seduce you!
This wireless transmitter can be powered by AA batteries or, to offer a more important autonomy, with a Sony NP-F type battery (like the Sony NP-FV50).
---
The Røde TX-XLR transmitter connects to the XLR 3-PIN microphone input.
Adaptors exist, in addition to 3-Pin to 5-Pin adaptors, or to other formats from other manufacturers, there is too the Røde VXLR which allows output in Røde Micon™ format.
For example to switch from a handheld microphone, as the Røde Reporter, to a Lavalier microphone, as the Røde Lavalier !
Only one transmitter for different kinds of microphones, for different kinds of works!
---
The present product needs a receiver placed on the recording source : the Røde RX-CAM
---
The transmitter (TX-XLR) easily connects to handheld presentation microphones as well as shotgun microphones, with a 3.5mm input and headphone output.
It can power the XLR microphone (48V Phantom P48) (ndcouillaler : the autonomy just will be reduced because of this, dependign of the power needings of the devices).
The TX can be powered either by 2 x AA batteries, a suitable USB power source via the Micro USB connector, or Sony NP-F series camera batteries.
