The UNI-CUBE adapts a single universal shoe mount to a multi-point mount, or as a simple right-angle mount for easy sight of signals and indicators, as well as recommended antenna orientation for wireless microphone receivers.

It is only compatible with devices that have a universal cold shoe mount. Canon HV20, HV30, HV40 are compatible, as well as most DSLR cameras (Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, etc) except Sony & Minolta brand. UNI-CUBE should work on all professional video cameras with a mic shoe.

This adapter weighs about four ounces / 100 grams.

Compatible with the Sony Intelligent Accessory Shoe (IAS), and others standards shoes of others brands.
Not the Active Interface Shoe (AIS), for this one prefer the AIS-CUBE reference, and not the new Multi-Interface Shoe (MIS) neither, for this one, you need to add a MIS-SHOE under the AIS-CUBE, perhaps a MIS-CUBE will exists soon ;) )
