You can now use an accessory with a LANC plug, like the tripod Sony VCT-1170RM, or the Sony RM-VD1 remote, onto your miserable camcorder, which can, by the way, enjoy all the latest Sony technologies with its Multi-Terminal plug, thing that the camcorders with only one LANC plug cannot do...

You will need this adapter cable to use our lens controls with Sony Handycams that do not have a LANC port.

Acebil Multi-50 adapter cable allows you to convert JJC SR-VD1, RM-1BP or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller to a controller with a Sony Multi-Terminal plug. Thus you can continue use the original JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 to SONY devices with a MultiTerminal instead of LANC input. Just plug the remote controller cable into the 2.5" mini female end of the adaptor cable, then insert the other end of the adapter into your SONY Multi-Terminal remote connector. Now you can use the JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller’s zoom, record, and shutter release functions to command your camcorder.
