When I think that your camcorder does even not have any LANC plug !
Ha! Ha! Ha! If it was not so expensive, it even could be very funny ! :o)
At least, with the Petit Monde de Couillaler, and JJC, which has developped the product, enjoy to use your accessory
without to have to change it, with its vilainous missing LANC plug !
A female minijack LANC plugged on one side, an A/V Audio / Video male plugged on the other, and that's done !
You can now use an accessory with a LANC plug, like the tripod Sony VCT-1170RM, or the Sony RM-VD1 remote, onto your miserable camcorder, which can, by the way, enjoy all the latest Sony technologies with its AV plug, thing that the camcorders with only one LANC plug cannot do...
Ha! Ha! Ha! If they were not so expensive too, it even could be very funny too ! :o)
We can read here or there
You will need this adapter cable to use our lens controls with Sony Handycams that do not have a LANC port.
JJC AV2LANC adapter cable allows you to convert JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller to a controller with a A/V terminal. Thus you can continue use the original JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 to SONY Handycams that has an A/V Remote terminal instead of LANC input. Just plug the JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller into the 2.5" mini female end of the adapter cable, then insert the other end of the adapter into your SONY camcorder's A/V remote terminal. Now you can use the JJC SR-VD1 or SONY RM-VD1 remote controller’s zoom, record, and shutter release functions to command your camcorder.
