will enjoy all Multi-Interface Shoes' camcorders or cameras' users! The microphone zoom mode allows the synchronisation of the zoom of your camera with the sound recorded. More you are zooming, more the recorded sound is close to the subject.

The Gunzoom Microphone ECM-GZ1M is compatible with a camera that has a Multi Interface Shoe such as a Sony Video Camera or Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera
Using a camera in combination with this unit enables effective recording to suit your purpose.
Refer to the instruction manual of your camera and check that your camera is compatible with the Multi Interface Shoe.
One-touch attachment by the Multi Interface Shoe. The Multi Interface Shoe terminal supplies the power and relays the signals from the camera to this unit.
Switchable between ZOOM microphone mode, which synchronizes directional sensitivity (stereo panorama) with the video zoom feature, and unsynchronized GUN microphone mode for a super-directional pattern.
